voice

At Toronto Music Alliance, voice lessons are available to students of any age or level. This program helps students develop their singing abilities through specific vocal tools and techniques. Singers can develop their voices by learning a variety of singing styles, including classical, pop, and musical theatre. We grow and develop confidence through performances, learning to develop healthy performance habits.

Younger students can look forward to developing their singing tone, breath control, ability to read music and musicianship skills. Students are instructed through child-friendly singing techniques, and are encouraged to sing repertoire that they enjoy. Students’ vocal education is supported by instruction in music theory, helping them understand, interpret and love their music to a deeper level.

As students advance, they develop their singing tone through more advanced vocal techniques, with an emphasis on the physical demands of singing. All singers are given concrete tools in order to consistently improve the quality of their voice both in their lesson and in their own practice time. This program develops the student’s understanding of the relationship between one’s ear, body and voice, and supports them in developing the singing voice that they desire.
